Its mechanism is narrow: it acts as an electron carrier in one specific redox role. MethylateBLUE™ is a dietary supplement built around phycocyanin, the blue pigment-protein in organic spirulina, paired with the methylated B vitamins, fermented nicotinamide, peptide-bound minerals, and chlorophyll your cells actually use. Three things. First, dose: a full 500 mg of organic blue spirulina extract, most products use a fraction of that. Phycocyanin is the deep-blue chromophore in spirulina, structurally similar to bilirubin and biliverdin, two of the body's own potent antioxidants.
